Feyer 'Parties' On A Street Piano In New York | Offstage Tunes Interview

How did singer-songwriter Feyer start his musical career? Get a glimpse of his early training, his thoughts on genres, and the types of music he likes to write.

Feyer is a New York City-based singer, songwriter, composer, producer, audio engineer and multi-instrumentalist. I first met him at a SoFar Sounds show where he works as an audio engineer for SoFar’s live musical events in New York City.

We decided to meet and chat about his music and Feyer graciously agreed to giving me a special acoustic performance of his recently released songs, “Stuck in a Video Game” and “Parties.” On a hot but beautiful, sunny summer day, he sat down to play on an off-white street piano in Brooklyn and immediately the passersby turned their heads to the music. The humid weather made the piano keys stickier than Feyer would have liked, but he didn’t mind. He pointed to the message “Stay Golden” permanently inked in gold on the piano and said, “this piano is telling me how to live my life.” Knowing how unpredictable life may be as an independent musician, Feyer seems ready to embrace any challenge with a smile.
